The staff working the evening shift are pleasant and very accommodating; they make you feel like part of the family. the rooms are amazing, super tidy with a nice shower and a cozy bedroom, for instance. 🌟

The food and the portions were excellent although a little pricy worth every penny.... but can't complain because it was very flavoursome....
We booked the family room which was located above the bar area and it was very noisy until midnight making it difficult for our son to get to sleep ( and me and my Husband) but the owner was very welcoming so don't want it to be a negative but its a shame that another room can't be used so that this problem is resolved. We would still book this hotel.

It was an excellent base for sightseeing in Clovelly. We had much fun. - the hotel had a central setting in the garden at 11 pm. - We were really close to beaches, sights, great friendly staff, and the area's most interesting historic landmarks.

The hotel was quaint and fairly clean. Great and beautiful location in the adjacent area. - Greatly enjoyed staying at the king room with enough space for all. - A wide array of food for breakfast, everything was gorgeous.

Made to feel welcome on arrival & then shown to our comfortable room with lovely views over the countryside. Our shower room was on the small side but had everything you needed. The location was perfect for trips to beach & visiting many of the beautiful gardens and tourist attractions. Lovely breakfasts, freshly cooked & evening meals also very good & plentiful. Very friendly people.

Chilling out in the garden here at 11pm is fantastic, so peaceful and nice. I would totally come back, they handle everything with no fuss at all. 🌙

Very accomodating, provided breakfast early when I needed to go out early in the day.
The room needed to be freshened up a little, wallpaper needed re-doing around shower, needed dusting behind TV.

Fairly clean and modern hotel with great view of the sunset. Amazing friendly and efficient staff on the eve ing shift, stunning double room. Central heating, an iron and tea/coffee making equipment were nice. Central location in traditional old pub, scrumptious breakfast. Based just off Camelford, the areas most interesting historic landmarks, and Bideford.

Overall, the experience here was great and met all our needs. the service was top-notch, though a few staff members seemed a bit unhappy. They even had a cool main bar to hang out in! 🍹
